Description
Automation Engineer
Requirements
• Bachelors of Science in Engineering: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is preferred, but all engineering disciplines may be considered
• Self Motivated
• Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Computational Skills
• Extensive experience with 3D Modeling Software
• Understanding of fluid-based pump systems with an ability to offer new design ideas and methods for process improvement
• General understanding of the Energy Industry and/or willingness to learn
• Ability to travel when necessary
• Organizational Skills
• Electrical experience or experience with controls and systems is a plus
General Responsibilities
• Aiding with designing & implementing process automation solutions
• Project Management: most duties will revolve around multiple on-going projects with multiple teams
• Communicating and collaborating with multiple internal and external teams to accomplish common goals both in the office and in the field
• Using 3D Modeling Software to create real designs
• Field Work: Site visits to conduct analysis for design and 3D modeling implementation
• Field Work: Site visits to aid with and/or potentially lead project implementation
• Organizing project information through web-based applications
• Create detailed reports and derive engineering conclusions
